The National Universities Commission (NUC) has presented an operational license to the newly approved Ebonyi State University of Aeronautics and Aerospace Engineering, Ezza.

The Commission equally the importance of academia-industry collaboration in aerospace technology and assured that the Commission would support the university to achieve academic excellence, research innovation, and adherence to quality standards.

The Executive Secretary of the Commission, Prof. Abdullahi Ribadu, while presenting the Certificate noted that the university’s recognition marked a significant milestone in expanding access to quality higher education, especially in specialized fields like aeronautics and aerospace engineering.

Speaking on behalf of the Governor, Deputy Governor Patricia Obila expressed gratitude for the license, reaffirming the state’s commitment to educational development and job creation through initiatives like the People’s Charter of Needs.

She pledged the university would uphold high standards and contribute meaningfully to national growth.

The institution becomes the 69th state university and the 300th in Nigeria’s university system.
